CDP Choline is always referred to as the building block of memory because neurotransmitter acetylcholine is produced from Choline. This neurotransmitter is important for memory retention in the brain and any deficiency of these neurotransmitters is a main cause in memory loss and mental fatigue. The conversion of CDP choline into the neurotransmitter acetylcholine normally takes place in the nervous system of the body. Such conversion replenishes and helps maintain the neurotransmitters at the optimal level in the brain. Acetylcholine enhances the activity of cortical neurons in the brain and this helps in improving memory quality and recollection. Various studies that have been undertaken in this regard show that CDP choline given to enhance neurotransmitter acetycholine resulted in an increase in memory power. Participants were able to remember events and recollect clearly. There are supplements now available that contains cdp choline to help improve memory power. A single daily dosage of the supplement will help increase neurotransmitter acetylcholine and thereby promote better memory quality. This supplement has no known side effects.

CDP Choline Improves Memory Power

Friday, January 6th, 2012
The age of fifty five is not yet that old but also not young anymore. My line of work is not that stressful but being a bagger in a supermarket takes longer hours of standing up in the counter. I am a retired grade school teacher. I love children so much that I never feel tired of being with them every day. I worked five days a week and half of the Saturday for the extracurricular activities of the children. I experienced recurrent joint inflammation in my knees and hips two years after my retirement. It felt so discomforting and the pain was not as tolerable as before. When I started working in the supermarket, it got severe. My movements became limited. I visited my doctor one morning and she confirmed that I am suffering from osteoarthritis illness. I was then instructed to strictly comply with my osteoarthritis treatment. Hopefully everything will get better after my treatment.
Vitamin B12 Overdse
Thursday, December 22nd, 2011Worried about a vitamin B12 overdose? You’re smart to read up on it. After all, many energy drinks and supplements contain a LOT of cobalamin. Some energy drinks’ nutrition labels claim 1000% or more of your recommended dietary amount! That’s a lot of vitamin B12!
The good news is, vitamin B12 is generally pretty safe, even in large doses. Luckily for us, cobalamin is a water-soluble vitamin, which means that even if we take too much, we’re liable to be okay because our bodies can remove it as long as we have enough fluids. So the moral to the story is, if you’re taking a lot of vitamin B12, make sure to stay well hydrated.
But side effects can still occur. Some of these may be due to imperfections in your supplement; you know the FDA doesn’t regulate those things. So make sure you buy and use a high-quality supplement.
